Evelyn M. Schwartz Hamm, 93, of Emmaus, died January 11 , 2012 in her home. She was the widow of Walter R. Schwartz and Wilmer A. Hamm. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. and Sarah A. (Bieber) Fegley . She worked in the silk mills, Saucony Shoe, and retired in 1981 from Daytimers as a Returns Supervisor. She was a lifelong member of the Emmaus Moravian Church, serving on the Board of Elders, the Silver Cross Kings Daughter, Christian Crusaders, the Peanut Gang, and sang on the choir. She was a member of the Emmaus Senior Citizens, was a crossing guard, PTA member, and the High School Band Club. She was a lifelong crocheter and an original member of the Happy Hookers. Survivors: Children, Ann Louise, wife of LaVerne Ritter, Sr., of Emmaus, Larry F. Schwartz, and wife, Gwenyth, of Ft. Collins, CO, Judith M., wife of Larry Paul, of Stillwater, Linda J., wife of Charles Miller, of Emmaus, Janet E., wife of Ronald Lichtenwalner, Jr., of Allen town, and Cynthia K., wife of John Graves, of Allentown; stepson, Dwight Hamm, of Macungie; brother, Donald L. Fegley , and wife, Vivian, of Murfreesboro, TN; 22 grandchildren ; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter . She was predeceased by brother, Peter G. Fegley; grandson Charles W. Miller; and stepsons, Donald and Dawson Hamm . Services: Funeral Services Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 a t 11 a.m. in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main St. and Keystone Ave., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery.
