Info from her daughter-in-law Audrey Verna Walker nee Andrews: Eliza came to Victoria from Adelaide. Her parents died when she was quite young, and a trust fund was set up for her and brother Alex. She was to inherit her portion at 21. She and her brother attended boarding schools, Eliza at PLC in Adelaide. She had a good singing voice and took lessons.
