 a) 7 Jun 1679 (son of Thomas and Winnifride)
 b) 1 Dec 1681 (son of Richard and Mary)
  See notes for father as to why I have deduced that this Richard was son of Richard and Mary.
 A 1743 lease to vest Possession of the tenement of Kinnaston (in Much Marcle) and lands in various common fields in the parish, John Ravenhill, James and Richard Hooper, of Woolhope, to James Hooper the Younger of Much Marcle. Vellum sheet, three wax seals.
 A vellum indenture dated 1785 between James Hooper of Old Gore, Ffoy, Herefordshire (grandson and heir of James Hooper of Kinnaston, Much Marcle) and William Houdall (this name is uncertain; it might Hendan or Hendall) of London, and relating to land and property in and around Much Marcle. The names of John Mullett, John Gammon, and John Halford are also referred to.
 Any connection?: The 12 Dec 1644 will of Johan BAYLIES - of the Parke, Ledbury, names “good friend Richard HOOPER of ye Synders” and to his children. Witnesses: Ann DURLINGE, Elizabeth WEBB.
