Note: N24600 Colin Campbell, 3rd of Glenlyon, known as "Mad Colin" due to his never having fully recovered from a blow to the head when young.
He married:
Frstly to Janet, daughter of Alexander Robertson, 1st of Faskally, (c/d at Innernytie on 20 June 1577. She was widow of John Stewart, 1st of Fundoynet and after her divorce from Colin Campbell she m. thirdly George Stewart, of Arntully, by whom she had issue) and from whom he was divorced.
Secondly to Beatrix, daughter of John Campbell, 3rd of Lawers, (c/d 8 February, 1589), from whom he was divorced, (she m. secondly in 1604 to Peter Kennoway of Kettleston).
He was father of:
1. Duncan Campbell, 4th of Glenlyon
2. Colin Campbell, served heir provisional to his elder brother Duncan Campbell of Glenlyon in the lands and barony of Glenlyon on 4 March, 1603.
3. Janet Campbell.
