J.W. says there was no issue of this marriage, which is probably correct. - Colin Campbell of Lundie grants a pension of wheat (SW 210); and 15 May 1624, Part when he and his wife renounce ... (Wedderburn Book. 1898.) --- 9 Jun 1606: Discharge by George Campbell of Crunan to Mr. Alexander Wedderburn Common Clerk of Dundee for 2500 merks in part payment of 5000 merks promised to him by the said Mr. Alexander in name of tocher with Elizabeth Wedderburn his lawful daughter now spouse to Colin Campbell the granter's eldest son, procreated betwixt him and Elizabeth Beaton* his spouse, by virtue of marriage contract between said George and his spouse and son on one part, and the said Mr. Alexander and his said daughter on the other part, of date the 29th of March last.
