 Her cousin Rev John Daubeney, Principal of the Theological College, Salisbury, conducted her marriage service, with Rev John Dryden Hodgson.

 Her birthplace is given in the 1881 census, when she was visiting or living with her daughter Amy in London. She was then described as an “annuitant”.
 A servant called Walter Hand, who was born about 1860 in Bremhill, was also at 85 Onslow Gardens on March 30 1881.
