Note: N36372 Alexander Campbell, 3rd of Crunan, styled as eldest son and apparent heir to his father when witness to a Precept of Clare Constat by James, Lord Coupar, to Janet, Margaret, Euphemia and Marion Ogilvy, daughters and coheirs of their father the deceased Robert Ogilvy, portioner of Bellatie, of a quarter-part of the lands of Glenmarkie, on 17 October, 1611, and succeeded his father in the lands of Crunan.
He married:
firstly to Jean, daughter of John Ogilvy, of Balgray, eldest son of John Ogilvy, of Inverkeilour, (c/m 6 September, 1602,)
secondly to Elizabeth Fraser, and d. in 1647.
