Note: The following notes were written by Jean R Smith in 1996.
Agnes used to look after her sister Christina when sick and her children. I am told she was very hard on them. But from what I have heard all the Riley's were extremely strict people. It was the way they were brought up. She later married Alfred Ducret. I can remember meeting her once when she came to Apollo Bay around 1941 to see her brother Charles. She stayed with John and Lena Riley. She is buried in the same grave as Christina and Alfred at Stratford. It has a large headstone on it. The only one I ever found a headstone on.
