Note: Obituary: Marie B. Crawford of Eugene, Oregon. died Jan. 21,2004 of cancer. She was 78. Marie was born Feb. 19, 1925, inBanks to Joseph and Paulina Schlaefli Mueller. She marriedSherman Crawford in New Westminster, B.C., on June 4, 1949. Hedied Oct. 31, 1993. She grew up in British Columbia and moved toOregon in 1949. She lived in Toledo and Siletz before moving tothis area in 1963. She lived in Coburg and Springfield beforesettling in Eugene. She was a homemaker and she worked as abookkeeper for a farmer and did field work. She was a member ofthe Norkenzie Christian Church in Eugene. She enjoyed gardening,crocheting, volunteer work and her family. Survivors include twodaughters, Nancy Dey of Springfield and Sharon Adams of Eugene;a brother, Joe Mueller of British Columbia; a sister, LouiseMyhre of British Columbia; and seven grandchildren.
