Notes
a. Note:   The main source for Hannah is a portrait found with the pictures of Florence and A. B. Washburn. On the back it says "Aunt Hannah Corl - grandpa's sister in Cal." At the bottom in much nicer handwriting, it says, "James in Cohoes, with compliments." Richard Springer Corl was the GF of Florence, but it is possible that Hannah is on the wrong branch of the tree. She may have been the DAUGHTER of Richard Springer Corl. In the datebook belonging to my GM (Florence Corl Washburn), she lists a "Aunt Hannah Nowell - born 1847." Month was July. Still a mystery. There is another Hannah Corl, also born in 1847, married to William Coon. She is a distant cousin.
