  GRAHAM - Sandra Elizabeth Washburn Pulliam, 58, of 1508 Darrell Drive, Lot 9, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the Hospice Home after six months of failing health and three weeks critical.
 A native of Knox County, Tenn., she was the wife of the late William Matthew Pulliam, and the daughter of Nancy Winstead King, who survives, and the late William Bradford Washburn Sr. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
 Survivors other than her mother of Burlington include two daughters, Pramila L. Byrd of Hampton, S.C., and Stephanie Layton of the home; two sons, Mark Layton and wife, Cheryl, of Burlington and Mike Layton of the home; a sister, Rose-Marie Faucette of Burlington; a grandchild, Jamiee Layton of Burlington; three brothers, Brad Washburn of Wake Forest, and Robert Washburn and Ken Bowden, both of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
 The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today, May 25, 2004, at the McClure Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Dennis Cook, and the Rev. Uston McKenzie. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
 The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham today one hour prior to the service and at other times at the mother’s residence, 313 Baldwin Road, Burlington.
 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
