From Lennart Frejd, researcher in Sweden: The marriage seems to have "ended" 1889, than Johan moves on to Erstagatan and Karolina and the rest of the family stays at Barnangsgatan 8 until the end of 1890. Then she moves to Vermdogatan 61 together with Karl Magnus and Knut Mauritz and as "lodger" they have Anna Karolina and Elvira Viktoria Juliana Nordberg born May 17, 1891. (This child is notified as an illegitimate child) 1893 she moves from Vermdogatan 61 to number 57 A. She lives there with Knut Mauritz and Oskar Georg Nordberg, born Mar. 4, 1896 (He is notified as an illegitimate child living wihin his family and next time he is a foster child) When Karolina and Knut Mauritz leave Sweden for Amerika he is living with Anna Karolina's family) But acc to Bo's notes/HFL(?) the man departed, the exact time is not known, but Aug. 24, 1899 Karolina and Knut Mauritz left Stockholm and went to Gothenburg, and the 8th of September the same year they emigrated to Amerika. Destination Campbells.
Carolina went from Gotenburg to Liverpool, England. On Sept. 12, 1899 boarded the Cephalonia and arrived in Boston, Sept. 1899. Son Ernst paid her passage; his home at Menlo St., Brockton was the destination. (Campbells as listed above should read something like Campbello---a section of Brockton.)
