E. notes) 1911 she is Brockton Directories as a housekeepe at 31 Otis St. 1918 (Mrs.) Lena Nordberg living in house at 553 Montello St. No occupation given 1921 she's a Candy packer, living in house at 553 Montello St. 1924-26 still a packer, living in h at 167 Court St. 1920 Head of House at 146 Perkins Ave. Brockton. She has two boarders, Frank Munnick, 22, single, born in MA working in the brick industry and Eric Lundquist, age 38, single. Eric was born in Sweden, as were his parents. He emmigrated in 1903, was naturalized citizen 1910. He is a "bal turner" at a shoe factory. (He's probably the "Uncle Eric that Aunt Vera has mentioned.) Info from 1920 Federal Census 1929 shows ERICK R. Nordberg, (Lena R.) shoe worker, 172 Forest Ave. Don't know who Erick N. might be, or if this Lena is OUR Lena. May be two different people. Her name beside his would designate a spouse. All info above from Brockton Directories via Bill Allard e-mail 1930 Lena Head of house, a rentor at 50 Clifton Ave. She is doing housework for private families. Living with her are her daughter, Edith Hennessey, (employed as a shoe stitcher at a shoe factory); her granddaughter, Dorothy R. Hennessey; and a roomer, Erik Lundquist (see above) who is now an iron moulder at LeBain's iron. I'm willing to be HE is the "Uncle Erik" Aunt Vera referred to. According to Brockton Directory Listings Mrs. Carl E. she died October 15, 1934 Lena's obit (Brockton Enterprise, October 15, 1934 says she was 60, died at her home 14 East Union St. Besides a son, Oscar, she leaves a daughter Edith Hennessy; also a brother Frank R. of Pawtucket, RI and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Kerr of East Bridgewater. Funeral October 17 at 24 White Avenue and interment at Melrose Cemetery. Email from Shirley (brown) Day. Lena R. Johnson Nordberg, wife of Karl M E. Johnson, born 1878 Oscar E. Johnson, born about 1880. All info from 1880 Census Report, via Ancestry According to an obit Bill found she also had a sibling named Frank. Have no other info on him, but he must have been born AFTER the census was taken on June 9, 1880.
