  Thomas Kerrigan, 58, self-employed carpenter
 NORTON -- Thomas Kerrigan, 58, of Norton, died on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at home. He was the beloved husband of Gail N. (Nordberg) Kerrigan, to whom he was married on Dec. 16, 1968.
 Born in Providence, R.I., on March 29, 1947, he was a dear son of the late Thomas Kerrigan and the late Irene (Gagne) Woyton.
 Mr. Kerrigan had been raised in Norton, and was educated in Norton schools. He received his associate's degree in business management from Dean Junior College, and had served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.
 He was a self-employed carpenter for several years until retiring. He was a member and former chaplain of the Norton VFW Post 8049, and a member of the Lt. Harold A. Healy American Legion Post 222 in Norton.
 Mr. Kerrigan's family will always remember him as a curious person, who had been interested in many things. He could also be considered "A True Patriot." Tom also held a special interest in politics. He had lived in Norton for most of his life, and had also lived in Attleboro for 25 years.
 Besides his wife, Gail, he is survived by his devoted daughters, Kirsten K. Bradley and her husband, Kevin, of Collinsville, Conn., Shannan I. Kerrigan of Norton, and Erin E. Golden and her husband, David, of Pascoag, R.I. He was the brother of Jo Ann Kerrigan of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Linda Kerrigan Apgar. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Kelsey, Gunnar, Grace, and Bridgette, as well as several nieces and nephews.
 Memorial services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m. in the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St., (off Route 140, Taunton Avenue), Norton. Visiting hours are omitted, and burial is private.
