Note: g Center in Emmitsburg. He was born March 11, 1927 in Foreston, Baltimore County, son of the late James M. and Ada V. Bull Carr Sr. He was the husband of the late Gladys Louise (Watson) Carr, who died in 1990. He was a farmer and for many years drove a milk truck for M.R. Zentz Co. in Keymar, until his retirement. He was a member of the Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren in Linwood, and a member of the AARP. Surviving are children and spouses, Larry and Lois Carr of Union Bridge, Esther Carr of Las Vegas, Nev., Sandra and Lynn Miller of Emmitsburg, Kenneth and Nancy Carr of Union Bridge; sisters, Helen Kline of Emmitsburg, and Ruth Carr of Taneytown; and brother, Arthur Carr of Linwood. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by brothers, Raymond E. Carr, and Donald E. Carr. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 24, from the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown. Interment will be in Pipe Creek Cemetery near Linwood. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, and will also receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
