Hilma Kristina was of age when she came to the USA (1890) so, following Swedish custom took her fathers name. It should have been Svensson or more correctly, Svensdotter, but was changed to Swanson when she came to the USA. She then married Alfred Larson of Sioux City, hence the name Hilma Swanson Larson. Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred (Hilma) C. Larson, 88, 1123 23d street, who died Monday at the hospital, will be at 2 pm today at First Covenant Church.
Re. William Sandstrom will officiate and burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery. The Anderson funeral home has charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be James Larson, Edward Larson, Charles Perley, Emory Harderson, Robert Larson and Elmer Larson.
