  Notes: James emigrated from Ireland in 1880 (this date is from his Naturalization Papers of 18 September 1917). He was born in Armagh, County Armagh, Northern Ireland the 15th day of March 1843 (this date does not agree with his death certificate which has 29 November 1838 on it). He emigrated to the United States of America from Dublin, Ireland on or about the 28th day of April 1880 on the vessel Baltic. Arrived in the United States port of New York, NY on or about the 28th day of May 1880.. Don't know if he immigrated with other family members. Edna Carney (wife of Rial Carney - Rial was the seventh of eleven children that James and Katherine had) believes that there may have been a brother Frank that lived in Texas.
  Died: 22 October 1932 in Dutton, MT. James was 93 years, 11 months, and 23 days old when he died.
  Married: Katherine Dixon in Pipestone, MN. Missing date of marriage. After their marriage in Pipestone, MN the family lived there for some number of years. Their first five children were born in Pipestone. They also lived in the following locations, I think in this order:
