Hi Scott,
I spotted your query just before going to Salt Lake City to do research. I
believe your ancestor was born in Skaraborg, Sweden. There are extracts of
births/marriages/deaths for that county in 1868. The film number from the
Family History Library is 0,201,186 for 1868. If you know the exact date of
birth it should be fairly easy to find - you would have to go through the
first part of the film - the births - page by page looking for the date and
her name. The county is broken into parishes so you would have to go
through each one. Without the date you would have to be more painstaking
and go line by line and keep your fingers crossed that there is only one
Augusta born that year.
The extracts would give you her parents names, probably their birthdates
and the farm. Then you could go to the clerical survey for that time period
to find other children in the family.
