WILSON Sunday, October 28, 2001 Page: 9A, 10A Richard C. Wilson, 88, of Willow Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township. Born Oct. 11, 1913 in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Charles and Matilda (Herting) Wilson. He attended schools in the Brooklyn School District. He was a steel fabricator for Murray Manufacturing Co., New York, for 29 years, and before retiring, worked for Sea Isle Sportswear, Wilkes-Barre, for three years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, the former Irene Rudawsky; seven brothers and 15 sisters. Surviving are his sons, Richard, Daniel and John, all of Wilkes-Barre; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
