Note: There must have been two Abraham Spencers in Grant County, Indiana. The marriage record to Amanda Brown, however, cleary states his middle
initial as "L", which matches the census of 1870 where an Abraham L. Spencer
is in Delaware Twp., Ripley County, with parents Thomas and Cleora.
The "other" Abraham is already in Green Twp., Grant County in 1870, with parents
Jackson and Hannah Spencer.
2019 Update: His middle initial is L on his headstone. Wife Alice - married in 1892.
Does not appear to be related to Spencers of Randolph Co., NC.
