Note: Worked for Boeing in Seatle, WA. James William Robinett, age 90, and 51-year resident of Des Moines Washington, died Wednesday morning, December 24, 2014 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. He is survived by his eight children, Cathleen Goetsch, David Robinett, Patrick Robinett, Jean Roscoe, Mary Moss, John Robinett, Donald Robinett, and Tina Taylor, 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and by his brother Richard Robinett. Jim worked for many years in the aircraft industry as a stress and design engineer. He loved working in his garden, building furniture, carving wood and exploring state and national parks. He especially enjoyed the company of his many family members. His wife Carolyn, preceded him in death, December 19, 2013. Jim spent the last few years of his life living in Tacoma, under the loving care of his son and daughter-in-law, John and Thoung Robinett. Funeral services will be held at St Philomena Catholic Church in Des Moines, WA on Monday, Jan 5, 2015, at 10:00 am; a reception follows. Viewing and family receiving will start at 9:00 am.
