Note: 1870 Census: Madison Twp., Fremont Co., IA with half-sister Winnie (Lytle) Edgerton. 1880 Census: Township 6, Sheridan, Kansas, p. 330A. same page as Jasper and Frank (Lidle) Lytle families. 1900 Census: Sundance, Crook Co., WY, p. 43B. Birth: Jan 1850, age 50, b. Indiana, parents in NC. Married 25 years. Death of Mrs. Frank Miller Residents of Sundance were shocked yesterday at the report of the death of Mrs. Frank Miller, which occurred at 3:50 a. m. April 23, 1903, in her home on the south Side. It was known to only a few that she was seriously ill and her death was therefore a great surprise. Mrs. Miller had been afflicted with an affection of the kidneys for three weeks and this developed into hemorrhage of the brain, which is said to have been the immediate cause of death. Apparently she experienced intense suffering only a few hours and she bore her burden with characteristic courage. Mrs. Miller's maiden name was Eleanor Lytle and she was born in Indiana in 1851. During her early womanhood she united with the Methodist church and endeavored to live the life of a Christian. She had resided in Crook county for more than twenty years and was one of those sturdy pioneer women whom the community keenly regrets to lose. Besides her husband the deceased leaves in this country a daughter, Mrs. Lige Townsend of Alzada Mont., and a brother, Henry Lytle, of Sundance. A large number of relatives remain in the eastern states to mourn her death. Mrs. Miller was a kind and generous lady and had hosts of friends wherever known. Funeral services will be held at the M. Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. M.C. Roberts officiating.
