LOIS LUELLEN Lois Lucene Luellen, 89, a 15-year Colorado Springs resident, passed away August 13, 2005. She was born May 30, 1916 in Casper, Wyoming to Oscar M. and Ina (Wing) Howard. Lois married Perry Luellen in 1934. Lois, her husband, and their daughter moved to Finlay, Ohio, in 1959. Lois’ husband passed on in 1973.She remained in Ohio until 1990 when she moved to Colorado Springs to be with her daughter, Pam Peterson, and her daughter’s husband, Harlo. Both survive her and will miss her dearly, as will all who knew her and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two young sisters. Lois was a wonderful homemaker and had been a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Casper. She was also a dedicated volunteer at various charities and at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Finlay, Ohio. Lois' last weeks were made happier and more comfortable by Pikes Peak Care Center and by Preferred Hospice for whose loving care her family is deeply grateful.
