Note: e Wymore Good Samaritan Center. He was born June 5, 1917, at Pierce, moved with his family to the Filley area as a young boy, and attended Filley High School. He married Elaine Lytle on Sept. 16, 1939, at Marysville, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Willard and Meta Rosa (Prahl) Milburn; and by his wife, Elaine Milburn (July 11, 2002). Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 10th and E streets, Wymore, Pastor Douglas Irmer officiating. Family prayer service: 10:15 a.m. Thursday, parish hall of the church. Burial: Blue Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home, Wymore, and at the church one hour preceding the service.
