He married Elaine Lytle on Sept. 16, 1939, at Marysville, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Willard and Meta Rosa (Prahl) Milburn; and by his wife, Elaine Milburn (July 11, 2002). Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 10th and E streets, Wymore, Pastor Douglas Irmer officiating. Family prayer service: 10:15 a.m. Thursday, parish hall of the church. Burial: Blue Springs Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home, Wymore, and at the church one hour preceding the service.
