Note: 1850 Census - Anderson Co, SC; p.301, house 899; Lydia [40], James H [15], Samantha [13], Narcissa J [10], Philip W [6], Julia C [3], Esther Moore [65]. 1860 Census - Regiment 42, Anderson Co, SC; p.313b; Lydia (48), Philip (14), Julia (13), Esther Moore (84). In 1860 census there also is a duplicate census entry under Jeremiah Timms (see his notes) containing Lydia and all 5 children as shown in 1850. The 1860 Lydia Timms entry is probably the real one and likely Jeremiah was living alone, yet listing all his family even though James (now 25), Samantha (now 23), and Narcissa (now 20) are probably out on their own. 1870 Census - Hopewell Twp, Anderson Co, SC; p.588a, Lydia Timms (57). 1870 Census - Williamston Twp, Anderson Co, SC; p.700b; Lidy Timms (50).
