Note: me spelt with heinRich with peter present on both documents ....is this just a spelling mistake. 2) on the birth cert father is shown as 'carl durmont' and on the marriage as 'charles durmont'(decd).....had he simply given himself a more english sounding name! my aunt did refer to hein(r/e)ich as henrywhen she was asked about him. 3) this is where the main ? over the dates are if we go by the date of birth on the birth cert then at his marriage he should be aged just turned 20 but he is listed as 23 giving his birth as 65/66 .....did he lie as he was technicaly still under age or was he born outside england and regon his arrival or at some later date for some other reason........... i willupdate this after i have done more research on these people)ok 25/1/03 i have been doing some digging at the records office. i went through all the death records and found carl still listed as carl it looks as if it was heinrich who was messing around with the names and dates as i found his death listed under HENRYP D S WEINAND.there were no other listed births for a hein(r/e)ich peter weinand, but there was a george rc weinand born sep q 1866 it looks as if he used his birth date to marry and as both of his parants were dead by the time of the marriage and an annie weinand(who i belive was an elder sister)was a witness this seems to have been consented to by the family so that he could marry before the age of 21

Grand child 'm' said that her father (Albert) had told her one day when a teacher had berated her about her pronunciation of her surname (said as we-nand rather than the expected German vine-and)that they should never have changed their name back to Weinand explaining that at one time around the turn of the century the family name had been dropped by his father in favor of the name Williams! (June 2010 recalled to me verbally by 'm')
