Note: S WEINAuD ,this applies to the first few of his children.His death was entered under carl durmont weinand age 59. whether his name was charles or carl remains to be found out, but i can say that he is entered as carl durmont on heineich's birth cert. interestingly enough tho heineich names him as charles durmont on his marriage cert.From what i can work out all weinands in britain today are decended from charles / carl through heineich as one of his sons died at birthand of his other two sons there is no trace of children,prehaps they moved out of the country.i still have more research to do... I have just found an entry for charles / carl on the familysearch 1881 census under the name CHAS.D WEINAuD this shows him as born in prussia,germany and also shows that at somestage the family was to be found in HALLE, GERMANY where at least two children were born!.13/2/03...i have been looking through the records and have found some marriages of weinand's between 1969 and 1992 .i have no idea if these 5 people with german looking names and with ofspring have anything to do with this line.8/3/03

NOW HAVE HIM IN ENGLAND AT LEAST AS EARLY AS 1857 where he was using the name 'mathew charles weinand' showing him as a theif was this why he kept changing his name and this entry says that he was a 'POLE' so was he from poland and not prussia or germany did he change his place of birth as well as his name!
