Notes
a. Note:   ing her birth to around Jul 1870 and a baptism for a child called Clara with mother Caroline occurred on 7 Aug 1870. Emma and Clara are both together on the 1881 census.
There is also another entry for a Clara Barrett who's mother is Caroline Barrett on 14 jun 1874 but ther is neither a death listed for the Clara of 1870 nor a baptism entry for Emma. it is feasible to say that Caroline had Emma christened on 14 Jun 1874 and she possible tried to suggest that Emma was Clara or the recorder of the baptism mistakenly put Clara instead of Emma!
It should be noted that Clara and Emma were both base born and that Emma’s mother is confirmed via birth certificate as Caroline.
