  YPSILANTI - Noah Matt Ridner Jr., 64, of Ypsilanti, who had been employed in Flat Rock, died Sunday after an extended illness.
 Friends may call until 9 tonight in the Janowiak Funeral Home, Geer-Logan Chapel, 320 N.
 Washington, Ypsilanti, and from I p.m. until services at 6 p.m.
 Wednesday. Pastor Tom Cole of the Church of the Open Door will officiate. A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at I Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
  Born April 8, 1928, in Verda, Ky., he was the son of Noah M.
 and Nellie (Bullock) Ridner Sr. He had been employed for 28 years with the Grand Trunk Railroad in Flat Rock as a locomotive engineer.
 Surviving are his wife, Nada;
 two sons, Douglas of Gaithersburg, Md., and David of Bad Axe; three brothers, Nolan, Dale and Roger; three sisters, Forrest Payne, Oka Strunk and Eva Laziness; six grandchildren, four
 step grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
  Memorials may be made to the I American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
