(Richard Simpson, 20 Jun 2013) In 1870, she was living with her mother in Libertyville, IL, and in 1880, with her mother in Evanston, IL. Alan Bunner says: "Jeanette was a teacher in Chicago and never married. She was planning to marry Tom Davis, but he died in the Civil War."
