Uncle John's death certificate states he was 50 years, 1 month and 29 days old at his death. He was a section foreman for the railroad and died of Lepts Meningitis with influenza contributing to his death. Pat Hertig was the Informant on the DC. So he evidently remained section foreman the rest of his life. (In a letter dated 15 May 1975, Clara Hoffman)
