 Jason Goswick 1854
In the name of God Amen, I Jason Goswick of the County of Franklin in the State of North Carolina, being (?) weak in body but sound in mind, do make, probate and declare this my last will and testament, to wit: My wish and desire is that all my Estate both personal and Real, shall be and remain together until my youngest child come of age or marry, for the use of my wife and all my children, until my wife shall marry again, in that I want for her to seek another home. It is further my wish and desire that should any of my children die without part of their share, then the part that would be coming to them shall belong to the balance that shall be alive and their heirs. It is further my wish that at the coming of age or marrying of my youngest child, my Executors shall sell all my Estate for the most that can be had for it, and the money divided among all my children and my wife, should she then be living. Except my daughter Emily, she to have one hundred dollars more than the others. I do hereby nomanate and appoint my son SOLOMAN and my friend (?) LONG, EXECURTORS to this my last will and testament, undoing all other wills by me heretofore made. Given under my hand and seal this 16th Day of Feburary A.D. 1854.
This will was contributed by: Mrs. Robert (Irene Reynolds) Goswick of Louisburg, N.C.
