a. Note:   ยท Daniel CHEATHAM, General Notes Posted 19 Jun 2015 by marconi214 August 1799, Daniel purchased 400a in Mecklenburg Co., VA. The land was located on Taylor's Creek.
  20 September 1799 - Daniel sold 200 acres to Thomas CHEATHAM.
  9 April 1804, he sold 122-1/2a to his son Bartley for 100 pounds.
  8 June 1805, Daniel made two deeds of gift to sons Samuel and John. Samuel received 100a and John received the home plantation and two Negroes. Daniel reserved the right to use John's land and Negroes until his death.
  Daniel apparently died intestate.
