My gggg-grandfather/grandmother were Allen Taylor and Rebecca Pope. A source just gave me this info: there were 12 children. The youngest 7 were living with Mills Taylor, Sr. in Robertson Co. TN by 1848 as I gather, Rebecca must have died. The children were, Penina Taylor, b.1817, md. Edwin Clark of MS; James W. Taylor (my line), Reubin S. Taylor,
Sally Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, md. James Pope of NC, Allen C. Taylor, John F.A. Taylor, Wilson C. Taylro, Rebecca Ann Taylor, Malvina Taylor, William A. Taylor, Winifield C. Taylor.
