Note: Enrolled in Porter Military Academy at age 7.
Attended N.C. State University.
1951-Entered U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant.
In 26 years of military service, he served two tours in Korea, and two tours in Viet Nam.
He was a Ranger-Then a pilot of fixed wing aircraft (Carabou), and later helicopters.
( I believe he was in the group that developed "Air Calvery tecniques"-ACJ)
He attended the Armed Forces Staff College-theU.S. Army War College, and spent three years at the Pentagon.
He earned a BS in business management from St. Benedicts University in Atcheson, Kansas, and a Masters in Business Administration from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas
