a. Continued:   SMYTH _ Edward Gould. Ted passed peacefully into the hands of God on September 29th, 2002, at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by his loving parents, Dulcibella and Charles E.G. Smyth, and Peter. He is survived by his beloved sister Mary (Chard), and his devoted wife of 61 years, Betty, their four children, Wendy, Penny (Rick), Jillian, and Brian, much loved Sue (Ted), and adoring grandchildren, Cindy (George), Jennifer, Craig, Avril (Brad), Chris (Taryn), Lynley, Shannon (Charles), Justin, Carolyn, and Lindsay; as well as numerous other family members and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence. A true gentleman, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him and all the lives he touched. He will be buried at Royal Oak Burial Park followed by a funeral service at 1pm on Saturday, October 5th, at St. Dunstan, 1806 San Juan Avenue, Victoria, BC.
