To the Reverend Hambleton [sic] Parks, Dyer Co., Yorkville P. O.

 Dear children

I received your letter in which you stated that you had attended to the land matter in Haywood County. I and your mother cannot come to your county this summer. Isaac talks of trying to go after fodder time and your mother and Susan talk of going with him if he can get a carriage. My health is as good as common; I am not in good health though generally up a part of the day. Benjamin is living on Harpeth River where you lived. He has a fine crop. Washington and Mourning are living with us and Montgomery is going to school at this time to Wilson Wall. We have no camp meeting at Pleasant Grove, there is to be one at Forest Hill, the second Sabbath in September. We had a letter from John T. Morris since he got home. He expected to come to the mouth of the Harpeth - if he did not sell the place. If Isaac comes to your country he expects to go again in September.

 Farewell,
 /s/ A. Stewart

 Robertson Co.
