Note: I eagerly blazed a trail from Madison to Beechgrove well over one hundred times from the early 90's until the summer of this year. Making a trip to visit Jim and Jennie was my favorite outing for over 20 years. They were the perfect couple, and Jim and Jennie complemented one another well. Jim had great patience and understanding of me. I have fond memories of the two of them backpacking with me. Jim did not know the meaning of lightweight packing. He carried a portable TV and other amenities not usually carried on the trail. Jim and Jennie also carried me car camping and cabin camping with them. I remember one time at Nathez Trace State Park when Jim rescued me from walking several miles back to our campsite after I swam the length of the lake unable to swim back again. Indeed, many memories have been made between the three of us. Jim, you will be sorely missed! Jim Byler Facebook, «i»Memories of James Ernest Dunn«/i» November 20, 2016 at 2:50pm
