Text:   The Rev. J. Martin Blacklock, at the Presbyterian Church, Eumundi, on
 October 17, officiated at the marriage
 of Mr. Archie Jeffs, of Townsville,
 second son of Mr. and the late Mrs. E.
 Jeffs, Palmwoods, and Miss Kathleen
 Templeton, only daughter of Mr. and
 Mrs. M. Templeton, Eumundi. Mrs.
 Blacklock presided at the organ, with
 Mr. P, Perrett (violin). Mr. Brandon
 rendered the solo, 'Beloved, it is
 Morn.' The bride entered the church
 on the arm of her father, who subse
 quently gave her away.
 The bride was frocked in needlerun
 lace, the front neckline softly cowled
 and caught with orange blossoms,
 shaped skirt extended to form a train.
 Her embroidered tulle veil was caught
 in cap fashion with a coronet of orange
 blossoms. Her bouquet comprised
 lilies and jasamine.
 The bride was attended by Misses
 Joyce Gridley and Nell Jeffs (sister of
 the bridegroom), as bridesmaids, who
 were frocked hi pink and green floral
 georgette respectively, featuring tiny
 frills at back forming a short train.
 They wore picture hats to tone and
 carried sheafs of gladioli and gerberas.
 The little flower girls, Joyce Low and
 Gertie Jeffs (step-sister of the bride
 groom) looked sweet in buttercup
 georgette ankle-length frocks trimmed
 with tiny frills, lattice Juliet caps in
 the same shade and carried baskets of
 flowers to tone. Mr. Edgar Jeffs
 (brother of the bridegroom) was best
 man, and Mr. Malcolm Templeton
 (brother of the bride) was groomsman.
 The bride's mother received the
 guests wearing wedgewood blue floral
 with hat to tone and carried red roses.
 The bridegroom's mother wore brown
 matalasse, hat to tone and carried car
 nations. On leaving for the honeymoon, which
 was spent in Brisbane and Toowoomba,
 the bride wore dusty pink silk un
 crushable linen trimmed with richlieu
 embroidery, worn with neora straw hat
 in the same shade.
 Mr. and Mrs. Jeffs' future home will
 be at Townsville.
