Text:   OLDEST INHABITANT PASSES Capella's oldest inhabitant passed
 away on Monday, when Mr. T.
 Doran, of Drumkirk, Chirnside,
 died in the Emerald Hospial. Mr.
 Doran was born in Ireland in 1859,
 and came to this country in 1885.
 For some years he was employed on
 the Emerald to Clermont railway,
 then settled on what is now Drum-
 kirk, in the latter part of the cen-
 tury. Mr Doran leaves one son,
 Samuel of Chirnside, and three
 daughters, Mrs. F. J. Carroll of
 Rockhampton, Mrs. E Lewis of
 Rockhampton and Mrs. M. Franks
 of Chirnside. Mrs. Doran prede-
 ceased her husband by 14 years.
