Note: ounds sustained from a fall on ice). Hector had to car for the family that had lost not only a father, but also their homes (burnt during the conflict). He eventually located to land that would become a portion of the present town of Wallaceburg. Sophia Crow was the daughter of Thomas Crow and Isabella Scarlett. The Crows emigrated from Ireland to the US, and then as a result of the Revolution they came to Canada.
Note: Hector was born in Kenovay, Tiree, the son of Allan MacLean and Mary MacDonald. The McLeans came to Canada as part of the Baldoon Settlers. Hector's father died in the War of 1812 (Feb. 1, 1813 from w
