Note: George Morey was the executor of the estate of his father, Wilhelm Morey. In 1850 George Morey, b. in PA age 40, a farmer, was living in Monroe, Holmes Co., Ohio, with his wife, Isabell Morey b. in Ohio age 24, and two Morey children, both born in OH;
- John W. (or H.) age 7 - Elizabeth age 4 (1850 census, microfilm roll M432_696, Page 135B, house #736, family #752)
In 1860 Geo. Morey (listed in the census as "Morrey'), b. in PA age 50, a farmer, was living in Millersburg, Holmes Co., Ohio, with his wife, Isabella Morey b. in OH age 34 (possibly his second wife), and 4 Morey children, all born in OH;
- John H. age 16 a farm hand - Elizabeth age 14 - Mary age 7 - George D. age 2 (1860 census, microfilm roll M653_989, Page 351, house #544, family #564)
In 1870 George Morey, b. in PA age 61, a farmer, was living in Monroe, Holmes Co., Ohio, with his wife, Isabell Morey b. in OH age 44, and two Morey children;
- Mary age 17 - George age 13 (1870 census, microfilm roll M593_1224; Pages: 121A and 121B, house #169, family #169)
In 1880 George Morey, b. in PA age 71, a farmer, was living in Monroe, Holmes Co., Ohio, with his wife, Isabel Morey b. in OH age 53, and two of their children;
- George Morey b. in OH age 22, a farm worker - divorced daughter, Elisabeth Morey b. in OH age 33 born in Ohio. Also listed in their household was a granddaughter, Jenny Wallace age 6 born in Ohio, and William Feeman age 25 born in Ohio a laborer. (1880 census, National Archives Film T9-1034, Page 341B)
