Everyone in the household was born in PA. (1870 census, microfilm roll M593_1383, Page 386B, family #88) In 1880 Elizabeth (Morey) Uhler, age 64, was living in Plainfield Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, Frederick Uhler, age 62, a farmer. Also listed in their household were their married son, Oliver Uhler, age 22, a laborer, and his wife, Sarah Uhler, age 20. Everyone in the household was born in PA. (1880 census, microfilm roll 1163, Family History Film 1255163, Page 237B, house #95, family #103) Elizabeth (Morey) Uhler died at the residence of her son, Oliver T. Uhler, in Plainfield Twp. Her obituary appeared in the "Easton Express" and "Easton Daily Free Press" of 1 June 1898, the "Easton Sentinel" of 7 June 1898, and the "Easton Semi-Weekly Free Press" of 3 June 1898. (Genealogist's note: A brief extract of Elizabeth's obituary found in the extracts of newspaper marriages and deaths, 1885-1902, on file in the Marx Room of the Easton Public Library, Easton, PA., shows that Elizabeth was survived by sisters; "Mrs. Angelina Breidinger and Mrs. Jeremiah Jones of Forks Twp., and Mrs. Joseph Dietrich of Upper Nazareth". This information has been found to be in error. All three of these women were daughters of Henry and Hannah Uhler of Forks Twp. and were sisters to Elisabeth's husband, Frederick Uhler. Angelina (Uhler) Breidinger, wife of Adam Breidinger, was born 2 September 1827, baptized Forks Church 2 December 1827. Elizabeth (Uhler) Jones, wife of Jeremiah Jones, was born 9 October 1822, baptized Forks Church 23 November 1822.
