Note: The sponsors at Peter Morey's baptism were his parents. In 1850 Peter Morey, b. in PA, age 35, a farmer, was living in Lansing, Tompkins Co., NY, with his wife, Deborah Morey, b. in Tompkins Co., NY, age 30, and four children, all born in NY:

In 1860 Peter Morey, b. in PA, age 46, a farm laborer, was living in Lansing, Tompkins Co., NY, with his wife, Deborah Morey, b. in NY, age 39, and six children, all born in NY:

In 1870 Peter's widow, Deborah Morey (listed as Mosey), b. in NY, age 48, was living in Genoa, Cayuga Co., NY, with six children, all born in NY:

Peter Morey, of Genoa, Cayuga Co., while rolling plowed ground was thrown under the roller and crushed to death.
In 1880 Peter Morey's widow, Debora Morey age 59 born in NY, was living in Genoa, Cayuga Co., NY, with two of their unmarried daughters, both born in NY; Elizabeth M. Morey age 32, and Julia Morey age 24. (1880 census, National Archives Film T9-0814, Page 72A)
