Note: The sponsors at Philip Johnson's baptism were John Eyer and Judith Mory (the child's aunt). In 1870 Philip Johnson, age 47, was a farmer in Upper Mount Bethel Twp. with real estate valued at $2,000 and personal property of $300. He was living with his wife, Sarah A. In 1900 Philip Johnson, age 77 a farmer, and his wife, Sarah A. Johnson age 70, were still living in Upper Mount Bethel Twp. Their children had left home.
