a. Note:   Catherine's obituary appeared in the "Argus" newspaper. Catharine wrote a will on 10 December 1875 bequeathing a house and lot at Middleville to her son William Morey and directing that her remaining real estate be sold and the proceeds equally divided between her other six children, who were all named. She further appointed her two sons, Peter and Charles, as
 the executors. Her will was probated 8 February 1876. (Estate file #9330, will book 9, pg. 109, Northampton County Government Center, Easton, PA)
