In 1870 Caroline (Morey) Kresssler, age 35, was living in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, Henry Kressler age 46 a farmer, and one son, Peter Kressler age 12. They had no real estate and personal property of $700. Also listed in their household were Caroline's uncle and aunt, Tobias Morey, age 81 a retired farmer, and his wife, Margareth Morey age 78. Caroline died at the age of 43. Her brief obituary appeared in the "Argus" newspaper of Easton, PA. She died at the age of 43.
