  Sallie Ann's (aka. Sarah Ann) Morey's marriage to John Datesman appeared in the "Argus" newspaper. In 1857, at the time of their marriage, they were both living in Upper Mount Bethel.
  In 1870 Sarah A. (Morey) Datesman, age 32, was living in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., Northampton Co., PA, with her husband, John Datesman age 35 a miller, and five Datesman children; Annie J. age 11, Herbert M. age 9, Judson age 8, Lizzie age 5, and William S. age 3. They were living next door to the home of Sarah's parents, Jacob and Catherine Morey. John Datesman had no real estate and personal property valued at $150. (1870 census, microfilm roll 1383, Northampton Co., PA., Upper Mount Bethel Twp., pg. 445, house #620)
  In 1880 Sallie (Morey) Datesman, age 41, and her husband, John Datesman, age 45 a house painter, were still living in Upper Mount Bethel Twp. with seven of their Datesman children; son Herbert age 20, son Judson age 18, daughter Lizzie age 15, son William S. age 12, son Jacob E. age 9, son Jairus age 6, and son B. Frank age 3. Herbert was employed as a slater and Judson as a painter. Also listed in their household was their married daughter, Anna J. Blake age 21.   In 1900 Sallie Ann (Morey) Datesman, age 61, and her husband, John Datesman, age 65 a farmer, were still living in Upper Mount Bethel Twp. Their children had all left home.
