They were living next door to the home of Philip's brother, John Datesman. Philip owned real estate valued at $1,000 and personal property of $300.   In 1880 Elizabeth (Morey) Datesman, age 37, and her husband, Philip Datesman age 41 a carpenter, were living in Portland in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp. with four daughters; Alice Datesman age 16, Catharine Datesman age 11, Susan Datesman age 7, and Rossella Datesman age 2.   In 1900 Elizabeth (Morey) Datesman, age 57, and her husband, Philip Datesman age 61, were still living in Portland in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp. Philip was manager of a slate quarry. All of their children had left home. The census showed that Elizabeth had six children and that four were still living in 1900. (1900 census, Northampton Co., PA., Upper Mt.
