Rader, of Portland, died on Sunday afternoon at 3:15 at her home after an illness of several months from infirmities incident to old age. She was 80 years of age. Mrs. Rader was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Long, of Upper Mt. Bethel, and resided in Portland all her life. She was twice married, her first husband being the late Charles Morey. She was the mother of the late Mahlon Morey, of the Morey-Larue Laundry Company, this city. Two children survive her: Mrs. D. F. Smith, of Elizabeth, NJ, G. H. Morey, of Colorado Springs, Co.; also one step-son, Oscar Rader, a sanitary officer of this city; a step-daughter, Mrs. Frank Hanson, of Ilion, NY, and two sisters, Mrs. Catharine Johnson, of Brodhead, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Louise Dernberger, of Leonard, Mich., and five grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Portland Methodist Church. Funeral on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with all services at the house and interment in Riverview cemetery, Portland. (Other sources: 1.
